NAR’s Gillespie named one of the best female leaders in real estate – RISMedia


The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) recently announced that its Director of Marketing and Communications, Victoria Gillespie, was named to the 2021 Top 100 Women Leaders in Real Estate list. Gillespie was among those recognized for ” go beyond their quest for real estate excellence, paving the way for future women leaders in the sector ”.

Gillespie has over 33 years of experience in banking and real estate. In his current role at NAR, Gillespie leads more than 90 employees within the association’s Marketing, Communications & Events (MCE) team.

On behalf of NAR’s 1.5 million members, his team manages the association’s multi-million dollar national consumer advertising campaign, a massive operation of conferences and events throughout the year, a ongoing production of member communications on programs and benefits, and all communications initiatives with external media. .

In 2021, Gillespie was named one of Ragan’s “Best Women in Communication” for her work leading a team that “has proven adept at seeing corners and telling compelling stories.”

Prior to joining NAR, Gillespie was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Northwest Federal Credit Union and prior to that, Chartered Real Estate Agent at RE / MAX Realty Affiliates. Earlier in her career, she worked for the Citizens Bank of Maryland as the Vice President of Commercial Real Estate. Gillespie graduated from American University with an MBA in finance and from Penn State University with an undergraduate degree in finance.
