Buying a home while it’s under construction gives buyers a unique opportunity to customize the space – within a specific set of guidelines – before the home is complete. According to the listing, this is the work of builder Fabian Hixson with H Constructors LLC (formerly TTB Holding Group LLC). Construction began in the summer of 2021 and the property is expected to be completed in April, Cox said.

Cox said his best advice for buyers looking to buy a new construction home is to assemble a team to help make design decisions. With a new construction home and the freedom to customize, the decisions can be overwhelming, she said. Cox said she would recommend buyers enlist the support of a realtor, designer and builder to keep the project on track.
“It’s fun to buy a spec house that isn’t complete because you can pitch in, but sometimes it can be difficult because there’s a lot of detail,” Cox said. “Every piece of the puzzle affects the finished project.”
The house at 6707 Pemberton Drive is listed at $2,895,000. He is currently under contract.
