3 New Year’s resolutions for real estate professionals – RISMedia

Another year is drawing to a close and, with the holidays behind us, we now have the New Year to look forward to. Many people make New Years resolutions, whether it’s to hit the gym more often or quit smoking, but you should also consider making a professional resolution in 2022.

Whether it’s getting more organized or focusing more on being proactive, there are countless resolutions to consider. Here are three important ones for real estate professionals:

Be more productive in 2022. Perhaps easier said than done, being proactive in the New Year should be at the top of every Realtor’s New Year’s Resolutions list. Write down what you want to accomplish over the next 12 months, then create a game plan for how to get there. Sure, focus on more general goals, but also jot down other more manageable goals that you can start implementing immediately.

Don’t be afraid of technology. There are many real estate technology products on the market. From AI to automation, the field can be quite intimidating with so many options to choose from. However, it is important to embrace some of these solutions because the technology is not here to replace real estate professionals, but those who do not adapt can be replaced by agents who do.

Become more organized. If you are confident in your ability to execute your 2022 game plan and are happy with the suite of technology products you are using right now, it might be time for you to just focus on getting better organized during the next season. new Year. Clear your workspace, but also the clear workflow. Consider automating more rudimentary daily tasks and revisit the previous resolution if you don’t currently have this capability.

The past 22 months have been tough for everyone, so it’s more important than ever to approach the New Year (and the New Normal) with a clear head and clear goals. Consider making any or all of the resolutions listed above in 2022 and start the year off on the right foot!
